Miss Dizzy and her fight against cancer
She does so love the beach
She doesn’t go for walks as often as before but let’s face it she’s 11 so even with 4 legs she probably have slowed down by now . We don’t do anything special she has a quality food but it is a dry complete food a joint supplement cortaflex is put in her food we walk her as far as she wants to walk. We never take it for granted that she is doing good, shes still an amazing foster sister to the dogs we foster the main thing is she seems happy and healthy

sorry for the delay but we had a wonderful holiday have been back a couplle of weeks now but just haven’t had much time to update the blog.
we had great weather and good company with the friends and their dogs that we went with.
we did have a day when we were very worried about Dizzy as she wouldn’t eat or drink and didn’t want to move and she wouldn’t come for a walk. But 2 days rest and she was fine again so all we can guess is that on the sunday when we went to the beach she just over did it when she was bouncing around trying to boss 17 other dogs about.
well i promised photos dizzy isn’t in many as we had to leave her behind when we all went to the beach together as she just didn’t now when to stop.
she did make a new whippet friend too who she loved chasing maybe you can just make them out as it’s a bit of a blur

a few pics of our beach day
so we haven’t been around much recently. I started a new job we took on another foster dog who needs us me quite a lot and having 4 dogs in the house is time consuming. But i missed Dizzy’s 7 month ampuversary trust me tomorrow she will be spoilt rotten. There have been many times when I didn’t think she would make it to christmas but still here still stubborn still acting as the play police when the foster dogs get carried away. She isn’t as interested in going out on walks as she used to be but it is winter so am hoping it is just that. She still wags her tail and is so happy when i come home from work, she will her nose up at food when she thinks there may be something better on offer. All in all things are ok we had the best snuggles on the sofa a couple of days ago and those moments make it worth while and i will remember them forever. Happy christmas everyone hope you all have a great day we will i know that.
just wanted quickly to say sorry i haven’t sent him on yet but i had some fixing up to do. To the dog waiting to sink their teeth into Barney(you know who you are) do not worry he is all fixed and will be departing monday. Hopefully the postman will do a good job and get him to you quickly.
Drifter is going to miss the purple Dino
I found him in the dog bed 
It could have been miss Dizzy or Drifter as it’s not unheard of for dizzy to pull stuffing out of rhing. I do know it wasn’t Jasper who was responsable because he wouldn’t go near him
well after the visit to the walls Drifter needed to carry him around again and Dizzy just loves the walk around the lake (wearing the harness from Riosmom )
but things started to get a bit tough and Berney tried to escape up a tree in the garden
But Drifter is a determined dog
the stuffing was starting to come out of Barney but what happened next was really unexpected
So we took Barney to experience some culture
i had hoped you would be able to read what the sign said about the walls but to sum it up it says In 71 Ad the roman army established a fortress on the banks of the river Ouse. the picures were taken at the remains of the eastern corner tower
but of course Barney tried to climb uo to cliffords tower and tried to corrupt Jasper too
.
then we found this 
and so barney thought his little visit to the walls was nice and relaxed without drifter carrying him around but Drifter didn’t take too kindly to barney having his own little adventure and there was a bit of a disagreement
