just wanted quickly to say sorry i haven’t sent him on yet but i had some fixing up to do. To the dog waiting to sink their teeth into Barney(you know who you are) do not worry he is all fixed and will be departing monday. Hopefully the postman will do a good job and get him to you quickly.

Drifter is going to miss the purple Dino

I found him in the dog bed

It could have been miss Dizzy or Drifter as it’s not unheard of for dizzy to pull stuffing out of rhing. I do know it wasn’t Jasper who was responsable because he wouldn’t go near him

well after the visit to the walls Drifter needed to carry him around again and Dizzy just loves the walk around the lake (wearing the harness from Riosmom )

 

but things started to get a bit tough and Berney tried to escape up a tree in the garden

But Drifter is a determined dog

the stuffing was starting to come out of Barney but what happened next was really unexpected

So we took Barney to experience some culture

 

 

i had hoped you would be able to read what the sign said about the walls but to sum it up it says In 71 Ad the roman army established a fortress on the banks of the river Ouse.  the picures were taken at the remains of the eastern corner tower

 

but of course Barney tried to climb uo to cliffords tower and tried to corrupt Jasper too

.

then we found this 

and so barney thought his little visit to the walls was nice and relaxed without drifter carrying him around but Drifter didn’t take too kindly to barney having his own little adventure and there was a bit of a disagreement

 

All was going well and she was allowing him to share her sofa

but then     she decided she wanted Barneys treat too

 

jasper thinks Barney smells just look at the expression on his face

 

and i know you all think Barney is having too nice a time being loved by the dogs here but …………to be continued

Dizzy is not a toy killer so Barney thought he was safe not so Barney
Drifter my foster dog loves a good toy kill, but he also fell under the spell of barney and he took him for a walk
and he carried him around like this for the whole walk. we got caught in a rain shower so ran home, as we reached the front door Drifter put Barney down and licked the rain off him.

Today Barney is going to explore the York walls which have been standing since Roman times
